The traffic report feature has paid itself off, I’ve been able to anticipate traffic on my area quite well and has kept me moving rather than being delayed or stuck. Rating: A great presentation for a GPS unit, the Nuvi 670 GPS has a nice widescreen that is also a touch screen as well! As for my experience with it, lets just say it hasn’t been the same since I got it. Traveling around has been so much more faster with less thinking, since the route is predetermined and turns are spoken to you in advance before a turn. There’s simply just minimal effort involved to get to your destinations. I found that the interface is just as easy to use as everyone has said, basically it’s sleek and simple, a child could learn to use it in a short moment even. But of course the best thing is being able to select the “fastest” route to be calculated.

Rating: I haven’t encountered any problems with the Garmin Nuvi 670 yet. This model does have European maps, which I did use. The reception on it was good and the maps were excellent as well. I did find that I had some outdated maps that I needed to update with the Garmin software. One of the cool features on the 670 is that it has a traffic receiver that tracks the congestion of traffic in the area. There’s a separate map for that which you can toggle though. Quite handy. The points of interest is pretty good, there’s a lot of listings.

Rating: I love it! The Nuvi 670 is a very beautiful device, the wide touch screen is makes this all work together nicely. The interface is very user friendly, much more friendlier than a lot of competitor units I’ve heard. The maps are very nice, they’re clean and can be toggled between a 2D or 3D view. You can enter a lot of things into this to get to where you need to go. I especially like the type pad that comes up, incredibly easy to handle. I was amazed at how accurate GPS really is. In terms of distance, it has it down very close, making the text to speech voice a powerful tool in navigation.
